Rifle M96 Boer rifle (ZEAR) from Ludwig Loewe manufacture in very nice original condition. Case inscribed as follows: Left side serial number including German military acceptance gothic letter under crown in the further two lines MOD.MAUSER 1896. Below LUDW.LOEWE & CO BERLIN. Matching numbers breech with German acceptance gothic letter under crown. Magazine box screws and cover marked with serial number and last two digits of serial number respectively. Slightly stripped walnut stock still with visible German military acceptance Gothic letter under crown and further on right side of butt large German military acceptance large Gothic letter under crown. Only barely visible serial number on stock at height of case. Weapon in very nice overall condition with original bluing preserved as far as possible. Acquisition certificate required!
