41 Semi-automatic pistol model Lange P. 08 Manufactured by ERFURT. Year of manufacture: 1914 Serial No.: 3779 a Caliber: 9mm Luger

Long pistol 08 by ERFURT from 1914 in almost mint condition. 98% of the original bluing has been preserved, but is slightly worn in places. The attachments such as bolt, trigger, safety etc. still largely in the original tempering colors.

On the left side of the fork is the serial number 3779, the year of manufacture 1914, on the top and on the right side the contemporary proof mark in the shape of a stylized eagle as well as three contemporary acceptance marks, crown over Gothic letter.

The breech shows the maker's logo Krone ERFURT on the middle joint as well as the contemporary proof mark on the front joint and the last two digits of the serial number on the three joint parts.

The complete serial number 3779 a can be found on the front of the grip frame.

The barrel bears the calibre designation 8.82, the serial number 3779 with the letter "a" as well as the contemporary proof mark in the form of a stylized eagle of the ERFURT company, a military acceptance crown above a Gothic letter and above it a crown RC for the revision commission.

The weapon contains a well-preserved, rebated magazine with wooden base without serial number but with military acceptance mark.

The pistol also shows the serial number and various acceptance marks in the usual places and small parts.

Near mint condition Lange 08 pistol made by ERFURT which only produced Lange 08 pistols in 1914 in a quantity of approx. 25000 pieces.
